"Created in 2021 during the pandemic and stuck at home, I had been experimenting with different size palette knives (my choice for paintbrush) and I wanted to make this painting as textured as possible. The new Gamblin grey oils had arrived and I kept thinking about them so this was the result. I kept thinking cake!"
