"This painting was a bit of a struggle. It just was not coming together and at one point I almost used my palette knife to remove the canvas from the stretcher altogether and start over. Sometimes you need to step away and work on something else. Then when you come back you see what it needed, and it feels like a new day! I think this is how we got through the pandemic - one day at a time. I loved pulling a warm and cool palette together in this one." - Teodora Guererra
